College Life
One of the practical ways discipleship is worked out at PRBI is by learning to live together in community. The majority of our students, single or married, live on campus where there are many opportunities to practice community and share in each other's lives.
Living in community brings to light what it means to belong to the body of Christ. While it does have a way of exposing our character flaws, it is also a great place for people to care enough about you to speak Truth into your life. Grace is demonstrated in a very practical manner. Learning to live in community as Christ intended results in others being encouraged, built up in their faith and spurred on in their journey.
We believe your spiritual growth and maturity will be enhanced as you choose to become part of a community that is willing to take the journey together.
Our culture today tells us to find our independence and look out for ourselves. Living together in community is characterized by interdependence and personal responsibility for the welfare of others. This requires a change in thinking, as you must not only consider what you want, but what is best for the other members of the community.
